Actun Tunichil Mucknal - (Air): Fly into
Belize City and travel by van to the Roaring Creek River
Valley. There you will hike through the lush tropical rainforest
and swim through pristine rivers. Actun Tunichil Mucknal
is Belize’s premier cave featuring amazing geological
features, ancient artifacts, burials and sacrificial alters.
Bring extra clothes, hiking shoes and a swimsuit. Lunch
and soft drinks included.

Altun Ha Maya Ruins: Travel south around
Ambergris Caye and north to the village of Bomba. View
orchids, water birds and an occasional crocodile. From
Bomba, you travel by van 12 miles to the site of Altun
Ha Maya for "Rockstone Pond". Altun Ha is one
of Belize's smallest archeological sites with its tallest
structure being 60 ft. high. Bring along comfortable wearing
apparel, shoes that will not slip, your binoculars, camera
and sum block.

Cave Tubing and Belize Zoo: A transfer
from Belize City on the Western Highway brings you to the
Caves Branch River
and its winding path through
the Maya Mountains and numerous ancient caves once
inhabited by the Maya. You will ne transported back in
time as
you float down this river! Upon arriving at Jaguar
Paw, be prepared for a 45-minute jungle trail hike. Your
guide
will point out various plants, roots and herbs once
used by the ancient Maya. After lunch you will make a stop
at The Belize Zoo, home to an impressive array of large
cats, primates, reptiles and birds. This habitat gives
you the opportunity of viewing Belize’s prolific
wildlife in one location.
